In 2022, Pakistan faced devastating floods that left countless families in dire need of assistance. Amidst this crisis, a group of local friends, originally part of a bikers group dedicated to promoting road safety awareness, decided to step up and make a difference. Understanding the urgent need for relief, they took immediate action, rallying support and resources to aid the flood victims.

This group, driven by a strong sense of community and solidarity, quickly organized a comprehensive relief effort. They raised an impressive 4.9 million PKR, which was used to procure essential supplies. Their relief packages included complete food packs, gas cylinders, clean drinking water, tents, mattresses, and essential family packages to help the affected families survive the aftermath of the disaster. Recognizing the critical need for healthcare, they also included basic but important medicines in their aid packages.

What made their initiative truly remarkable was the personal involvement of the team members. These dedicated individuals personally delivered the supplies, ensuring that the aid reached those who needed it most. This hands-on approach not only provided much-needed relief but also offered a ray of hope and solidarity to the victims.

The success of this initiative inspired the group to formalize their efforts into an organization that could continue to serve their community in times of need. Thus, the Himat Welfare Foundation was born. This foundation is now dedicated to providing ongoing support and aid to those in need, building on the principles of empathy, solidarity, and proactive community involvement.

Today, the Himat Welfare Foundation stands as a testament to what can be achieved when a group of determined individuals come together for a common cause. Their journey from a bikers group promoting road safety to a formidable welfare organization highlights the power of grassroots action and the profound impact of community-driven initiatives.

Free Medical Camps

Join us in making a difference! The Himat Welfare Foundation has launched a series of free medical camps in rural areas, offering essential healthcare services to those in need.

At these camps, we provide:

• Free Sugar Tests: Early detection and management of diabetes.
• Free Hepatitis Tests: Identifying and addressing Hepatitis to prevent its spread and complications.
• Free Blood Grouping: Helping individuals know their blood type for medical emergencies.
• Medical Assistance: Offering consultations and basic treatment to improve overall health.

Our mission is to raise awareness and provide much-needed medical support to rural communities facing economic challenges. By offering these services at no cost, we aim to bridge the healthcare gap and ensure that everyone has access to essential medical care.

School Campaigns in winter season.

In 2023, the Himat Welfare Foundation launched a commendable initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged children in Thatha and Farooqabad through their school package campaigns. Recognizing the pressing needs of these communities, particularly during the harsh winter season, the foundation stepped in to provide essential items that many children lacked.

The campaign was a beacon of hope for the children, many of whom attend school in challenging conditions. The Himat Welfare Foundation distributed comprehensive school packages that included school uniforms, pairs of shoes, stationery, and warm jerseys. These items are often taken for granted by many, but for these children, they represented a significant step towards a more comfortable and dignified school experience.

The provision of school uniforms was particularly impactful. Wearing a uniform not only promotes a sense of equality among students but also instills a sense of pride and belonging. For many children in Thatha and Farooqabad, having a proper uniform was a new and uplifting experience that motivated them to attend school regularly.

Shoes were another critical component of the campaign. Many children in these areas walk long distances to school, often on rough and unpaved roads. Providing sturdy pairs of shoes helped protect their feet and made their journeys to school safer and more comfortable.

Stationery, an essential for any student, was also part of the packages. Notebooks, pens, pencils, and other writing materials were provided, ensuring that the children had the necessary tools to engage fully in their education. This support is crucial as it directly contributes to better learning outcomes and helps students stay organized and prepared for their studies.

Lastly, the distribution of warm jerseys was a lifesaver during the cold winter months. Many children in Thatha and Farooqabad face the bitter cold without adequate clothing. The jerseys provided by the foundation helped keep the children warm, healthy, and ready to learn, even in the chilly weather.

Through these thoughtful and generous efforts, the Himat Welfare Foundation has made a significant difference in the lives of these children, fostering a brighter future through education and compassion.
