In 2023, we successfully planted 5000 trees across various locations, contributing to the greening of our surroundings and the enhancement of local ecosystems. This initiative was part of our broader goal to combat climate change, improve air quality, and provide natural habitats for wildlife.
Current Mission: Greening Punjab Schools
Building on our previous success, we are excited to announce our latest afforestation project aimed at planting 2000 trees in Punjab schools. This initiative not only focuses on environmental benefits but also integrates educational opportunities for students, encouraging them to be active participants in nurturing and preserving nature.
Project Details
- Target Locations: Two newly established schools in Babu Man, Punjab.
- Number of Plants: 2000 trees, with 1000 trees designated for each school.
- Type of Plants: Each tree will be a robust 3-foot plant, carefully selected to thrive in the local environment.
- Cost: Each plant costs 60 rupees, with the total project aiming to raise sufficient funds for the procurement and planting process.
- Collaboration with Education Department: The Education Department has pledged to take responsibility for the care and maintenance of these plants, ensuring their growth and sustainability.
